TriService Medical Information Program – Using the Agile software development process, TechWerks supports the Integration aspects of the Theater Medical Information Program-Joint (TMIP-J). TMIP-J is an ACAT I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) Program that integrates software from sustaining base medical applications into a multi-Service system for use by deployed forces. TMIP-J encompasses the “business systems” unique to deployed operations including logistics, evacuation, tracking, and planning. TMIP’s software serves as the medical component of the Global Command and Control System (GCCS)/ Global Combat Support System (GCSS) backbone and Service computer/communications infrastructure allowing the warfighter to monitor and maintain Theater medical situational awareness.
Defense Blood Management System – TechWerks provides engineering and application support services for the Department of Defense Blood Donor Management System (BDMS). Our experts support the deployment and sustainment of the enterprise solution deployed at 20 DoD blood donor centers across the globe. In addition to providing a comprehensive blood donor services system, TechWerks supports real-time enterprise reporting capabilities to monitor and adjust blood and blood product inventories across all facilities.
Veterans Affairs Interagency Operating Room Management – TechWerks supports the DoD/VA Interagency Program Office (IPO) as a prime contractor providing services to both the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), and DoD to meet the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) requirements focusing on clinical standards and interoperability. TechWerks provides senior personnel with expertise in clinical standards and interoperability, complex medical record data mapping, clinical expert terminology services, clinical process innovation, and clinical workflow evaluation and design.
Army Global Assessment Tool (GAT) -TechWerks supported the design, development, deployment, sustainment, enhancement, and technical support for the Army’s Global Assessment Tool (GAT) and online fitness and resiliency platform which includes development and implementation of the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Ultimate Me platform. We provided systems analysis and administration, database and code management, pre- production testing and code deployment, code scanning, system documentation, security testing and information assurance support, troubleshooting code and database errors as well as resolving customer identified problems. The platform includes a user friendly web based application available to Soldiers, Family Members and Department of Army Civilians.
Veterans Affairs Health Information Exchange – TechWerks provides clinical, technical, and program management support to the Veterans Affairs Office of Interoperability, which includes the creation of deliverables that focus on interagency program and project management and interoperable electronic health records, strategic planning, and consulting services to VHA. Our work centers on Electronic Health Record interoperability and innovation at VA/DoD Joint Venture and medical sharing locations. We developed and executed a highly effective Interoperability Data Quality Assurance (IDQA) processto perform comparative analysis on the availability of domains and data elements available in both VistAWeb and the Joint Legacy Viewer (JLV) to ensure data quality in each clinical domain.

Defense Health Agency Global Service Center Tier 1 Support – TechWerks provides integrated service center in support of enterprise medical information systems and associated communications and computing infrastructure. Our analysts help MHS customers resolve problems with applications by answering, triaging, and ticketing all inbound calls and email incidents. James A. Lovell Federal Health Clinic – North Chicago – TechWerks supports a wide range of IT systems for an important clinical technology hub of the Federal Health Clinic in North Chicago. We provide direct support for clinical software applications and associated technology and security updates, patches and hardening, system management and error handling of DoD Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) functionality. We produce ad hoc reports by developing or executing FILEMAN reports, CACHE, Business Objects or Crystal Reports. We provide configuration management by reviewing CHCS six-month Maintenance Release (SMMR), change packages and providing impact assessments to customers, users and stakeholders.
United States Army Dental – TechWerks provides IM/IT support to the DENCOM Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Information Management and Technology Development (IM&TD) section. This 24x7x365 Enterprise Health IT support operation includes worldwide support that includes Regional Health Command Europe(RCHE), Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and all outlying clinic locations. TechWerks is responsible for supporting the full software development life cycle for Corporate Dental System (CDS) and providing Medical IM / IT support services to treatment facilities located across within the RCHE. The Corporate Dental System is used to schedule 360K+ patient appointment per month, document 4.3+ million dental procedures per year and used to store 37+ million patient x-rays and clinical PACS images through the Dental Digital Repository (DDR).
Defense Occupational and Environmental Health System (DOEHRS) – TechWerks provides data management, data reporting, analytics, and database management services to support the DOEHRS application. In addition to providing data reporting, TechWerks programmers and engineers use the Agile process to deliver software enhancements and new functionality.
As a long-time provider of information technology to the Department of Defense, TechWerks has developed a strong cybersecurity capability. Our team of Cybersecurity Experts are certified to support DoD systems and are experienced in securing accreditation using the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Blood Management Host Based Security Suite (HBSS) – TechWerks configured site-specific items to ensure each of the DoD’s 20 Blood Donor Centers had a fully configured medical device that met each site’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). TechWerks performs Software Maintenance and Upgrades, including testing and deployment of software patches and updates as they become available. TechWerks performs day-to-day System Management and operations of the BDMS system in production. We operate the Production and Training environments as well as an environment for disaster recovery. TechWerks provides Installation and Configuration Support of the BDMS system to ensure this 510(k) Class II medical device was integrated to work in the DoD’s network infrastructure. TechWerks also integrated the external interfaces into the DoD’s Identity Authentication Services (iAS) to provide Common Access Card (CAC) authentication and security. TechWerks supports the Information Assurance of Critical Infrastructure requirements for BDMS. We test and deploy security patches through an established IAVM process on an on-going basis to ensure that BDMS application’s security posture is current. TechWerks shepherded the BDMS system through the Security Certification and Accreditation DIACAP process to receive an Authority to Operate (ATO). TechWerks performs Security Review and Analysis of Automated Information Systems with annual reviews to ensure that BDMS maintains its ATO. We also ensure Identity Management and Assurance and User Account Management by managing the user accounts for the BDMS system.
Army Fit / UltimateMe – TechWerks supported the transition of Ultimate Me from the Army Data Center Fairfield to Defense Health Services Systems (DHSS) consolidated Operations Center located at Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/San Antonio. We are performing program management, requirements management, development, testing, deploying, reporting, sustainment support, and helpdesk functions for the UltimateMe platform. We worked with stakeholders to meet the DoD security requirements and system accreditation. We provided expertise in Information Assurance, enterprise data analysis and data warehouse design, behavioral science subject matter expertise, strategic communications, defense command structure and training doctrine expertise, and project management.
